FAMILY OFFICE COLLECTIVE
Produced in partnership with The Good Exchange
For many wealthy families, simply writing a check to their favorite charities is no longer satisfactory. Looking for a new level of engagement and pathways to measurably move the needle in solving a significant social challenge, these families are seeking “actionable philanthropy” experiences and curated impact investing opportunities to deploy not only their financial assets, but their thought capital as well.
To meet this need, the League of Change Institute – in partnership with The Good Exchange and a number of wealth management and family office practice partners – will produce and host s series of Family Office Collective Capital Exchange meetings.
Planned for 2017:
- The Insights & Interests Exchange will be in December at The United Nations in New York City. The agenda for this meeting will allow family office principals and executives to listen and learn from one another, with a focus on sharing best practices and identifying shared interests on issues that matter.
The Family Office Collective Capital Exchange will use the League of Change Institute proprietary action platform known as The Genie Project to curate and showcase action philanthropy and impact investment opportunities. Participating families will be able to make social, intellectual and financial investments in ventures working to solve the social and environmental issues that matter most to them.
Family offices are encouraged to bring both principals and next generation family members to the meetings.
The New Triple Return
Many wealthy families are looking to put their assets to work to improve the state of the world, and measuring success using a new triple standard: return on investment, return on impact, and return on involvement.
